Reception department

To date, the admissions department operates a timely quality medical service to patients, as well as compliance with the rules of hospitalization of patients.

The admission department is one of the main auxiliary departments of the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center.

On a 24/7 basis:

admission, registration, primary clinical examination, medical triage, sanitization and subsequent referral (transportation) of patients to the appropriate departments of the hospital;
providing emergency medical care to all those in need and determining the further optimal treatment algorithm;
implementation of the necessary sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic measures; maintenance of accounting and reporting medical and other documentation.
In the admission department there are rooms for examining patients, dressing rooms, and procedural rooms. Equipping the admission department with medical equipment and medicines is sufficient for primary diagnosis and emergency medical care.

The composition of the daily round-the-clock shift of medical personnel directly in the admissions department includes therapists, a surgeon, an otolaryngologist, a maxillofacial and purulent surgeon. If necessary, the necessary specialists are involved in the work, any diagnostic examinations are performed.

Patients in need of emergency medical care are examined by the general practitioners of the admission department (electrocardiographic examination, ultrasound, fibrogastroduodenoscopy, X-ray examination, blood and urine tests are performed), and appropriate medical care is provided.

For patients in serious condition, consultations are organized with the participation of leading specialists of the center.

Also, patients with suspected infectious diseases are examined in the isolation room and, if suspicions are confirmed, they are sent to the infectious diseases hospital in the car of the epidemiological team.

When registering hospitalized patients, the medical record is filled in by the medical registrar, the patient’s body temperature is measured in the anthropometry room, the patient is examined for diseases such as pediculosis (lice) and scabies, the patient’s height and weight are measured, complete or incomplete sanitization is performed (in the hygiene room), after which the patient is sent to the appropriate department for further treatment.

There is a dressing room in the department, where the surgeons of the department bandage postoperative wounds, and also perform primary surgical treatment.
