Department of torakalsurgery

History of the Department of Thoracic and Endosurgery.
Thoracic and endosurgery department currently has 30 seats. This department was first established in 1995 by professor Yangiboev Zeribbay Radjapovich under the name of the department of endosurgery at the regional clinical hospital. At that time, it had 20 seats. At this time, i.e. in 1995, the first endoscopic operations were launched in our region (the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy in our country was performed in the scientific surgical center named after V. Vokhidov in 1994, in the thoracic and endosurgery department of VKTTM in our region in 1995 done). In 2008, the Department of Endosurgery was renamed Thoracic Vascular Surgery. In April 2009, it was transformed into a thoracic surgery department. In 2022, the name of the Department of Thoracic and Endosurgery was changed due to the establishment of the regional branch of the V.Vokhidov Republican Scientific Surgical Center. At the moment, the department has developed comprehensively, and procedures such as laparoscopic cystectomy, laparoscopic echinococcectomy from the liver, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, and thoracoscopic lobectomy, which were not previously performed in the department, have been started at the initiative of Professor Yangiboev Zeribboy Radjapovich. The head of the department and his staff are working on the creation of new endoscopic operative types that have not been solved in our region in the future.
