A meeting of the regional scientific society of surgeons and anesthesiologists-resuscitators under the Khorezm regional multidisciplinary medical center was held.
The event was attended by all surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators working in our region, as well as chief physicians of city and district medical associations. The meeting was chaired by the head of the regional health department, Kupalboy Tangriberdiev. At the beginning of the meeting, information was provided about the meeting of the regional governor, Jurabek Rakhimov, with medical workers on October 4, 2025. At this meeting, the mayor noted that an open dialogue took place on pressing issues in the medical field - the culture of communication between doctors and the population, ensuring the satisfaction of users of medical services, shortcomings in the field and solutions. During the meeting, some problems in the regional healthcare system, including urgent issues in the field of regional surgery, and their solutions were discussed. At the same time, relevant recommendations and instructions were given to improve the activities of medical institutions and further improve the provision of high-quality and modern medical services to the population. The event also focused on the scientific work of N. Matkurbanov, a surgeon from the Department of Abdominal Surgery, on the topic of “A comprehensive stratification method for the risk and prognosis of complications after liver echinococcectomy.” It was noted that his research has scientific and theoretical significance in assessing the risk and preventing complications in liver surgery. Instructions and recommendations were given to the medical staff to improve their professional skills, implement modern treatment methods and make our people happy with medicine.
